Motorcycle Lubrication Education

Changes to the Site | MotoTribology

I made some changes to the site as some of you may have already noticed. I eliminated the “news” section because I just wasn’t feeling it anymore. It dawned on me that the area would be stagnant for long periods of time if I had to wait for motorcycle lubrication news to break (let’s face it, it doesn’t happen that often). So rather than devoting a section to news, I’ve converted it into a pseudo-blog that I think will be more versatile and valuable to me and my readers.

I found that I kept thinking of topics I wanted to write about that weren’t necessarily news and they also weren’t worth writing a full article about either. So having an area where I can post my ideas about lubrication topics that may be less technical than the full articles makes sense at this time. I hope you, my faithful readers, continue reading and follow along as MotoTribology.com evolves into the best site it can be.

Some of my early grand visions for the site have taken a bit of a backseat as life has presented me with more realistic limits of my capabilities. However, I feel like I am constantly learning how to do this right and make this website great, so if you bear with me through these learning times, I think the results will show themselves as it grows.

Don’t be shy! If you see things that you don’t like or have any comments on my content, please contact me and let me know. I opened a Q&A area that I hope to fill with questions that can act as a sort of FAQ  and quick guide for motorcycle lubrication. If you have a particular topic you are interested in learning about, let me know. The entire purpose of this site is to educate, so the more directly I can address people’s questions, the more valuable my answers can be for everyone.

Ok, now that is out of the way we can get back to bikes. There is a new article posted about suspension fluids and how to compare and select the right ones. Read on and spread the word!
